Choose Your Words Wisely

If Rafiq al-Husseini wanted sex for jobs, he would, like, totally hit up someone younger

[tweetmeme] Reading the Arab News over my morning coffee, I found a gem of a quotation (though I can not seem to find an online version of the article).  Ex-Abbas aide, Rafiq Al-Husseini – the one who was accused in a sex-acts-for-jobs scandal a while back – gave an interview in which he vehemently denies involvement.  The money quote is a round-about explanation of why the whole story is preposterous.

Arab News: Well some people would have a problem with you saying that 50-year-old women just don’t excite men anymore.

Al-Husseini: No, I’m not saying that, I’m saying that they are my age and if I want to seduce or if I want to get sexual favors for jobs and so on, this is not the age group that I would be blackmailing (my emphasis).

Who can argue with that logic?
